Studio Hours & Access

Members may access the studio during designated member hours. Hours may shift seasonally or for special programming — any changes will be communicated in advance. Kindred reserves the right to close the studio for private events, maintenance, or holidays with reasonable notice.

Membership Tiers

Kindred offers two membership tiers: Member and Full Member. Benefits, access levels, and pricing are outlined at the time of enrollment. Membership is capped to preserve the intimacy of our community.

Complimentary Venue Rental

Eligible membership tiers include a complimentary venue rental as a member benefit. To redeem this benefit, members must maintain an active, continuous membership for a minimum of 3 months from their enrollment date. The venue rental is subject to availability and must be scheduled in coordination with the Kindred team. Standard venue rental policies and guidelines apply. This benefit is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash value.

Booking & Cancellations

  • Members may reserve studio time and workshop spots through our booking system.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund or credit.

  • Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before an event or reservation are non-refundable.

  • No-shows without prior notice may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges. Repeated no-shows may result in permanent loss of booking access.

Age Requirement

All members and guests must be 16 years of age or older to enter and use Kindred Studio.

Guest Policy

Members may bring guests during designated open hours or events where guest attendance is permitted. Guests must adhere to all studio policies. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests. Guest access during member-only hours may be limited or require advance notice.

Studio Etiquette

Kindred is an intentional, alcohol-free space. We ask that all members honor the following:

  • Respect the space. Clean up after yourself. Return materials, tools, and furniture to their designated places. Leave workstations and shared areas as you found them — or better.

  • Respect each other. Keep noise at a conversational level. Be mindful of others working, creating, or relaxing nearby. Kindred is a welcoming space for all backgrounds, identities, and creative levels.

  • No alcohol or recreational substances on the premises.

  • No smoking, vaping, or open flames inside the studio.

  • Food and beverages are welcome in designated areas only. Please dispose of waste and recycling properly.

  • Personal belongings are your responsibility. Kindred is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • Photography and recording: You may photograph your own work. If capturing images or video that include other members or the broader space, please ask for consent first.

Use of Materials & Equipment

Kindred provides shared tools, materials, and furnishings for use during your visit. Please handle everything with care. Members are responsible for any damage caused by misuse or negligence. Report broken or malfunctioning equipment to the Kindred team promptly.

Do not remove studio property from the premises without explicit permission.

Workshops & Events

Workshop and event sign-ups are subject to capacity limits. Some programming may carry an additional fee beyond your membership. Workshop-specific materials and instructions will be provided by the instructor — please follow their guidance and respect their expertise.

Health & Safety

  • If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.

  • Report any safety concerns, injuries, or facility issues to the Kindred team immediately.

  • Emergency exits, first aid, and fire extinguisher locations are posted in the studio.

Privacy & Personal Information

Kindred collects only the personal information necessary to manage your membership and communicate with you. We do not sell or share your information with third parties. For full details, refer to our Privacy Policy on our website.

Membership Suspension & Termination

Kindred reserves the right to suspend or terminate a membership at any time for violations of this policy, disruptive behavior, or conduct that compromises the safety or comfort of the community. Refunds in the case of termination are issued at Kindred's discretion.

Members may cancel their own membership at any time. Cancellation terms and any applicable refund windows are outlined in your membership agreement.

Liability Waiver

By using Kindred Studio, members acknowledge and accept that participation in workshops, events, and use of the studio and its equipment is at their own risk. Kindred Studio is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

Changes to This Policy

Kindred may update this policy from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the studio after updates constitutes acceptance.
